It is stocked annually with fish such as largemouth bass, bluegill, and catfish. The surrounding area features several hiking trails, including the White Oak Ridge Trail, and an outdoor pavilion for picnics and events. Visitors can also rent canoes, kayaks, and rowboats from the on-site concession stand. The reservoir is open from sunrise to sunset daily
